He is also the god of eloquence, at the same time - resourcefulness and deception. No one can surpass him in dexterity, cunning, and even in theft, since he is an unusually clever thief. It was he who once stole Zeus's scepter as a joke, from Poseidon has a trident, Apollo has golden arrows and a bow, and Ares is a sword.
