One of the giants who rebelled against the Olympian gods. Agrios (Ancient Greek: Ἄγριος) in ancient Greek mythology is one of the giants who rebelled against the Olympian gods. In the Library of Apollodorus, he is the son of Gaia from the blood of Uranus. In Hyginus's Fabulae he is the son of Tartarus. Under Apollodorus, he and his brother Thun were killed by the Moirai in Gigantomachy with bronze rods. Since giants can only be truly killed by mortals, Hercules knocks him down with a bow.
